Let me help you with your writing or publishing venture

Read on to find out more about me and what I offer, or get in touch to discuss your project.

I've worked in publishing for more than twenty years, and since I went freelance in 2008, my clients have included trade, education, academic and specialist publishers, and a growing number of individual writers who self-publish or are preparing their work to submit for traditional publishing. I’ve also worked with non-publishers, including museums, local businesses and charities, to help them create resources and polish their publicity and information materials.

I am developing the Fantasy and Speculative Fiction aspect of my editorial work, and to support this I recently did a postgraduate Masters in Fantasy Literature at Glasgow University – a fabulous experience. I love the way SFF allows writers and readers to explore ideas in challenging, interesting ways. If you would like to talk about working on your SFF project with me, contact me, or for a quick chat you can always phone (number below).

I undertake regular CPD training through the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP – formerly the SfEP) to keep my skills sharp and up-to-date – so you’re in safe hands with me.

Do get in touch – I’d love to hear from you.
